Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Who are the presenters? The presenters are licensed mental health professionals from across the United States who have integrated their Catholic faith within their specialty and psychological practice.
Q. What is the format? The webinars are in an engaging, easy-to-watch format with side-by-side modules of film footage of the presenter and the presenter’s slides (where applicable) shown on the same screen.
Q. Can I watch the webinar(s) anytime? Webinars can be watched at any time within 30 days of purchase, as well as start, pause, and resume it at your convenience.
Q. Is there a limit to how many times I can watch a webinar? There is no limit to the number of times you can watch a webinar within 30 days from purchase.
Q. What are the technical requirements for being able to watch a webinar? Operating System: At least Windows XP or higher or OS X 10.5 or higher; Internet Connection: Broadband 768 kpbs or greater; Browser: Latest version of Explorer, Firefox, Chrome or Safari.
Q. Can I have a copy of the slides the presenter used? The slides used by the presenter are the property of the presenter and, for copyright purposes, these materials are not available for personal use. CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS
Q. For what professions are CEs offered? CE credits are available for licensed mental health professionals who require CEs for the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC), the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Maryland Board, and the American Psychological Association (APA). If you have a specific question regarding your eligibility for CE credits, please contact the IPS Online Learning Office by clicking here.
Q. What do I need to do to receive CEs for a webinar? After you view the webinar, you will see a link to take a quiz based on the material you just watched. After passing the test, you will receive a link to immediately print off your CE certificate which contains all of the necessary information for your licensing board. For more information regarding which accrediting bodies we provide CEs for, please visit our Credentials page.
Q. How long will it take to receive my certificate after I view a webinar? After passing the test, you will receive a link to immediately print off your CE certificate which contains all of the necessary information for your licensing board.
Q. I lost the Certificate of Completion. Can I get a replacement? For a duplicate Certificate of Completion, please contact us at email@example.com. There is a $10.00 replacement charge.
Q. Are you going to offer an online masters degree from IPS? At this time, the IPS Distance Learning Office exclusively offers sets of webinars for certificate programs and single webinars with the option of CEs for licensed mental health professionals, pastoral individuals, and others in the helping professions. We do not currently offer any degree programs online.
